There was a little butterfly,
Who lived among the flowers,
Sipping dewdrops from the daises,
And passing by the hours.
Her wings were brightly colored,
Like a rainbow after rain,
And all the other butterflies,
Compare to her looked plain.
They very often teased her,
And sometimes she felt alone,
But she liked the green valley,
And the daisies were her home.
The one day she started thinking,
What was out beyond the trees,
Near the skyline of the valley,
Home to butterflies and bees.
So the butterfly went flying,
To see the world below,
She left the little valley,
But she knew not were she'd go,
She didn't want for nectar,
All the flowers lost there taste,
And there colors lacking something,
Though there petals she had graced.
So she started on her journey,
Out of valley green,
Over field,lakes, and cities,
Something she had never seen.
Her dreams they spurred her on,
So she flew into the night,
Until the sun came up,
Beautiful and bright.
The sun was warm and comforting,
The sky a vast blue sea,
And the butterfly realized,
That there she felt carefree,
For though she loved the flowers,
And the green fields held allure,
The blue skies made her feel,
Something beautiful and pure.
So she flew even higher,
Into heavens bright blue hair,
And she never did come down,
She's still flying way up there.
Now she lives among the clouds,
And drinks the morning's dew,
And she found something better,
Friendships rare and true.
For all the birds they love her,
They bring her flowers sweet,
And every other thing,
That a butterfly would eat.
She sleeps upon a feather,
On top the tallest tree,
And you know that little butterfly,
Is happy as can be.
When the sun begins to set,
You see her colors bright,
They paint the pale blue clouds,
As the day gives way to night.
And as the sun begins to rise,
She wakes and flies up high,
Spreading colors with her wings,
Across the morning sky.

"Missing You" Poem by AB~
I wish we could talk,
I wish we could kiss,
When you are not here,
Oh, the things that I miss,
I miss your kind words,
I miss your sweet voice,
You would not leave,
If I had a choice,
I keep you right here,
I'd not let you go,
I stay by your side,
'Cause I love you so,
I would kiss you all day,
I would kiss you all night,
I would not let you sleep,
We'd make love 'till the light,
We could walk in the rain,
And sing in the sun,
I know we'd be happy,
We always have fun,
We could order in pizza,
And stay home all day,
We don't need to talk,
'Cause I know what you'd say,
We could cuddle in winter,
And kiss as we do,
And in the spring time,
We could kiss then to,
We could go for some coffee,
And sip it all day,
I'd stare in your eyes,
'til you looked away,
I wish I could keep you,
But I'll let you go,
I know you'll be back,
For you love me , I know.

"Kaeidoscope of Memories" By AB ~
Making a kaleidoscope,
Of scenes captured,
Distant memories,
Time has fractured,
Not forgotten,
Not intact,
Tastes, and smells, and dreams,
Bring back,
There colors bright,
As sun shine through,
Holding tight,
My memories of you,
The way you smiled,
The games we played,
Warms my heart,
Every day,
Fragmented reflections,
Meld to make,
Pictures strong,
That time can't take.
Of scenes captured,
Distant memories,
Time has fractured,
Not forgotten,
Not intact,
Tastes, and smells, and dreams,
Bring back,
There colors bright,
As sun shine through,
Holding tight,
My memories of you,
The way you smiled,
The games we played,
Warms my heart,
Every day,
Fragmented reflections,
Meld to make,
Pictures strong,
That time can't take.

"In Your Arms" Poem by AB ~
In your arms I feel happy,
In your arms I feel free,
In your arms I'm all woman,
In your arms I am me,
Soft embrace, your heart is beating,
I feel your breath upon my cheek,
In your arms I am stronger,
But in your arms, I feel weak.
Your body's heat, it draws me closer,
Our body's meld, to yours mine pours,
Though in your arms, I'm am separate,
In your arms I'm all yours.
And when you whisper, that you love me,
My soul forever sings your name,
For words of truth, bells have motion,
Our love is not a shallow game.
So doubter pass, do not begrudge us,
Leave doubts at our door,
For in these arms I am taken,
We'll hold this love forevermore.
In your arms I feel free,
In your arms I'm all woman,
In your arms I am me,
Soft embrace, your heart is beating,
I feel your breath upon my cheek,
In your arms I am stronger,
But in your arms, I feel weak.
Your body's heat, it draws me closer,
Our body's meld, to yours mine pours,
Though in your arms, I'm am separate,
In your arms I'm all yours.
And when you whisper, that you love me,
My soul forever sings your name,
For words of truth, bells have motion,
Our love is not a shallow game.
So doubter pass, do not begrudge us,
Leave doubts at our door,
For in these arms I am taken,
We'll hold this love forevermore.
