"After My Bedtime" Poem by AB ~

Its after my bedtime,

I'm not asleep,

My eye lids are closing,

My schedule they keep,

I feel so exhausted,

My energy gone,

But my mind it is racing,

And my body it's pawn,

I'm thinking about,

All the people I know,

And all of the places,

That I'd like to go,

I'm wondering what's out,

Beyond that bright star,

And what's going on,

In countries afar,

I know I must rest soon,

I know I must sleep,

So I lye with eyes closed,

And try counting sheep.
