Feeling vacant,
Totally blank,
Silently I sit,
On the lake's bank,
Watching the boats,
Feeling the sun,
It sink in the sky,
The day is all done,
The water ripples,
As boats go by,
While overhead,
The water birds fly,
The light is reflected,
Into the lake,
The waves glisten,
In the boat's wake,
Not wanting to move,
But it's getting dark,
Soaking in nature,
As sun sets at the park.
