Do you ever taken a drive,
On a stormy day,
Following the rain clouds ,
As they carry you far away,
Watching for those tiny drops,
To tap your window glass,
Searching for the darkest clouds,
As the minutes pass,
Every turn, anticipating,
Until the sky must yield,
Letting go, ringing down,
On your window shield,
First ever lightly, like a mist,
Then stranger, faster, sure,
Melting all you stress away,
Like an age old cure,
And as you plunge into the rain,
The radios replaced,
By a song made just for you,
Because you dared to chase.
