It's five in the morning,
I'm lying here thinking,
I'm getting tired,
My eyelids blinking,
My Minds been racing,
Keeping me alert,
But it's slowing down,
And I am feeling inert,
The last two hours,
I've been wide awake,
Having these thoughts,
That I just can't shake,
Worries, and doubts,
Stress galore,
Now my body's exhausted,
In my bed on the floor,
I've work in three hours,
I've a schedule to keep,
So I'll say my mantra,
And try to sleep.
