She gazed from her perch on her saddle,
Over a yellow gold sea,
The wind playing games with her hair,
She sat looking wild and free.
Her eyes sparkle bright with wild pleasure,
Her lips tasting the air,
Lost in the voice of the meadow,
Feeling the breath of her mare.
Her clothes were dingy and worn,
Her hands were hardened by strife,
But her spirit shown hopeful and vibrant,
She beamed, overflowing with life.
So I watched her as if I was frozen,
Mesmerized by her sight,
Wanting to talk to this beauty,
And not have her flee out of fright.
But her horse brought her quick to attention,
And through the grass and dry brush,
Her eyes darted boldly across me,
And I felt my blood give a rush.
She flashed a fierce look of defiance,
As she beaconed me into her view,
Her childish voice sounded shaky,
And I felt my own hands shaking too.
Forward I stepped with my burdens,
Setting them down at my feet,
I'm just passing through I said shyly,
Not wanting our eyes to meet.
She searched 'til caught my demeanor,
Then she brushed back her silky dark hair,
I was skinny, and tired and weakened,
By no food, sun, and dry air.
She soften and lowered her voice,
Murmuring ,Well, there's nothing around,
I nervously shuffle my feet and nodded,
Kicking, the rocks on the ground.
Her mares hot breath drawing closer,
I saw that the girl had no shoes,
The saddle she sat on was weathered,
And her legs were all battered and bruised.....to be continued

"The Box" Poem by AB ~
It was dark, and his eyes, in the shadows,
Glowed like hot charcoal,
And his words cracked, as he tugged on his beard,
As smoke from his rough mouth rolled.
It is magic he said, worth more than gold,
And its likes you never will find,
It will make dreams come true, and it's up to you,
But it is one of a kind.
I felt my heart shiver, and my cold fingers shake,
As I pulled from my purse what I had,
For his beady eyes gazed, and he didn't seem sane,
So to leave with my life, I was glad.
I was sure he'd run off, when my money he had,
But he pulled from the shadows a box,
It wasn't much, and it weighed in my hands,
Like a chest, filled fully, with rocks.
Then he pocketed my coins, dropped his cig,
And he quickly slipped out of sight,
The stillness brought chills, for evening had passed,
And the moon, overhead, glistened bright.
Not a second, I lingered, for the streets were not safe,
And the next meeting might wield a knife,
For the beggars, and thieves, were hardly polite,
And I'd no gold, to barter my life.
My quarters weren't far, not a palace I had,
But a room at an old run-down inn,
And although, it was damp, and shared with rats,
It was paid for, and hardly a sin.
I had worked in a yard, loading ships late at night,
But now, worked a small shop by day,
Selling trinkets and cloth, and though it not much,
And the owner was kind with my pay.
The light from the inn chased back the night,
And I felt ,safe at last, close to home,
I promised myself, that never this late,
In boredom, the streets would I roam.
I'd forgotten of my buy, tucked in my coat,
Safety was first on my mind,
But the smell of sweet snuff, and it sheer weight and size,
Was more than enough, to remind.
My room was lit, with a rusty old lamp,
And I cursed at my own foolish mind,
For walking at night, losing my rent,
And leaving a light lamp behind.
I loosened my coat, and I took out the box,
And I shut tight my broken slat door,
In my one room I knelt, close to my bed,
Setting the box on the floor.
What a bargain, I thought, not worth my week's rent,
With my eyes feeling quiet close to tears,
Too manly to cry, I wiped my cheek,
And tried to push back my fears.
I lifted the lid, and jumped back with surprise,
The box was not rocks, like I'd thought,
I did nothing but stare, my eyes must deceive,
For I couldn't believe what I'd bought.
All my hopes, the box held, all my dreams had come true,
I could see my children, my wife,
My future was all I had wished it to be,
What I had was a wonderful life.
In a flash, it was gone, sucked back in the box,
But a feeling of peace I now owned,
In silence I stood, too dazed to move,
Once again, in my room, all alone.
What magic, I thought, or is this a dream,
It's visions still stuck in my head,
But I was awake, on the floor was the box,
Near my feet, at the foot of my bed.
Empty, it sat, there was nothing inside,
As it's shadow danced plain on the wall,
And I lifted it up, and now it felt light,
Like a chest, with no rocks at all.
I pulled tight my coat, flung open the door,
And fled my tiny, stale room,
Into the night, with no fear at all,
I plunged, like thread through a loom.
Down to the docks, where I'd worked many nights,
When life had been worse than this day,
And near the thick ropes, where boats were tied,
I tossed the box far away.
As it disappeared, beneath the dark waves,
The waters flashed bright with a glow,
The sea splashed my face, and the wind bit my bones,
The box sank in the depths, far below.
Standing in disbelief, of what I had done,
I heard a laugh, break the night,
In the shadows, he stood, with his cigarette lit,
And smoke curling thick through the light.
His eyes growing thin, he bent to the ground,
And pulled my wage from his boot,
Tossed back my coins, and gave me a grin,
Like a pirate, sharing his loot.
As the shadows consumed him, I heard his voice say,
Don't worry, your dreams will come true,
I too looked inside, and indeed, you were there,
You see, now your box, is in you.
Glowed like hot charcoal,
And his words cracked, as he tugged on his beard,
As smoke from his rough mouth rolled.
It is magic he said, worth more than gold,

"Sing Your Song" by AB ~
Sing your song, I'll listen,
It's your unique, to you,
Everyone, has their own version,
To them, their song is true,
As we grow are songs change,
Deeper, steady, strong,
No one's song is perfect,
No one's song is wrong,
All have imperfections,
Beauty has it's flaws,
Roses have there thorns,
Kittens have there claws,
One alone's, a solo,
Two's duality,
When the whole worlds singing,
We'll live in harmony.
It's your unique, to you,
Everyone, has their own version,
To them, their song is true,
As we grow are songs change,

"That, Wich They Teach Me" By AB
Blue is the sky,
Green are the trees,
Fresh is the cool morning air,
Children playing,
Children laughing,
Like, they've never a care,
Merry their laughter,
Just like sweet music,
Gladly they chatter and play,
Running and jumping,
Dancing and singing,
Blowing bubbles away,
They are my teachers,
They teach resilience,
Every days precious and new,
Too keep on believing,
Too keep on loving,
It matters each day what you do,
Even in sorrow,
They lift my spirits,
Just like a feather on air,
What I teach them,
Feels so little,
To what they teach, in compare,
They are golden,They are magic,
They keep me young as they are,
A panacea,A fountain of youth,
They have more power by far.

"That of Dreams" Poem by AB ~
I want to be a princess,
With gorgeous flowing hair,
Walk around my gardens,
With all my lady's fair,
I want to be a mermaid,
And swim around the sea,
Have all they pretty fish,
Adore and envy me,
I want to be a fairy,
Among the mushrooms sing,
Dance around the flowers,
And float on silver wings,
I want to be a robin,
And find the tallest tree,
There I'd sit for hours,
Were no one would find me,
I want to be a butterfly,
And visit every bloom,
Flowers, pollen, nectar,
My every taught consume,
I want to be a shinning star,
That hangs in heaven bright,
Glowing stronger, than the moon,
Each and every night,
I want to be a bubble,
The brine, oceans lace,
Floating were it takes me,
After waves, I'd chase,
I want to be a fuzzy seed,
That catches in the breeze,
Higher,higher,in the wind,
Over all the trees,
I want to be a snow flake,
Falling from the sky,
I'd find a rosy cheek to kiss,
And there I would fly,
I want to be a flame,
Dancing in the night,
Filling hearts, with desire,
Charming with my light,
I want to be a petal,
Plucked from a rose,
Touched to a lovers lips,
As loves proposed,
I want to be a babe again,
On my Fathers knee,
Listen to his heart beat,
As he comforts me.
With gorgeous flowing hair,
Walk around my gardens,
With all my lady's fair,
I want to be a mermaid,
And swim around the sea,

"The Day We Meet" by AB ~
Sometimes I sit, and dream,
Of the day we'll meet,
About, how you'll look at me,
And how my heart will beat,
My eyes fixed, shinning bright,
They'll hold, a warm embrace,
Bluer then they've ever been,
A smile upon my face,
I know I will be trembling,
As, I take, your hand,
The world, revolve around us,
As together, we will stand,
In your arms, I'll melt away,
And shyly hide my face,
From your loving glances,
That cause my heart to race,
I'll rest my head against your chest,
Your breath will draw my near,
All my pain will melt away,
And joy replace my fear,
Looking up, I'll see a smile,
On your sweet brown lips,
And from your precious mouth,
I'll take some precious sips,
I love you now, I'll love you always,
Forever yours I'll stay,
And in my thoughts, I'll hold this dream,
Until that distant day.
Of the day we'll meet,
About, how you'll look at me,
And how my heart will beat,
My eyes fixed, shinning bright,
They'll hold, a warm embrace,
Bluer then they've ever been,
A smile upon my face,
I know I will be trembling,
As, I take, your hand,
The world, revolve around us,
As together, we will stand,

"The Dream" Poem by AB ~
I have previously flipped,
I have previous lingered,
Through the pages,
Previous fingered,
But this time was different,
And the words, filled my head,
With vivid pictures,
Of my book, as I read,
Then under the shade,
Of this old twisted tree,
Gently resting,
At it's knee,
I slipped into trance,
And fell in a heap,
My mind swept away,
I slipped into sleep,
I was standing alone,
Wind on my face,
Holding a feather,
In a distant place,
Sand under my sandles,
Water touching my toes,
The warmth of the sun,
As it shined on my nose,
I was watching the skyline,
As waves tossed at my feet,
Waiting for something,
Or someone to meet,
Then, I let loose the feather,
And it swept out to sea,
Just like my dreams,
Had taken me,
As I watch it go,
I bent to the sand,
And in the warm earth,
I wrote, with my hand,
As waves, consumed,
Whatever I wrote,
I saw what I thought,
Might be a boat,
I glimmer of silver ,
Were the sky meets the sea,
And in my dreams knew,
It was you, coming for me,
I woke from my dream,
As my heart gave a leap,
I called out your name,
As I rose from my sleep,
In my hand, was my book,
On my lap was a feather,
It was worn and aged,
By time and weather,
It's tip, was all blacked,
Because it was a quill,
Lost in the pages,
Over time, it stayed still,
Where it had been hidden,
In the binds of the book,
Lost, and forgotten,
Were no one would look,
And there, in black ink,
Their was scribble a note,
It said, you are gone,
The sea stole you're boat,
But I'll wait for you, always,
My pen in my hand,
I'll love you, forever,
On the shoreline, I stand.
I have previous lingered,
Through the pages,

But this time was different,

After midnight,
Alone I sit,
Still and quit,
I relax a bit,
All day long,
I've had something to do,
To busy to think,
But I still taught of you,
I wish you were here,
'Cause I am awake,
I've still work to do,
But I'm taking a break,
Wherever you are,
My heart tags along,
Whatever you sing,
My heart knows that song,
I finish your sentences,
You finish mine,
Your voice melts my heart,
And makes my eyes shine,
So when your away,
I wish you were here,
But though you are not,
I'm still with you dear.
Alone I sit,
Still and quit,
I relax a bit,
All day long,
I've had something to do,
To busy to think,
But I still taught of you,
I wish you were here,
'Cause I am awake,
I've still work to do,

"No Rain in Sight" Poem by AB ~
The air so heavy,
My hair sticks to my cheek,
It feels like a sauna,
For the second week,
The heat is unbearable,
The sun beating down,
The ground is so dry,
Sand blows all around,
It's still by the lake,
The water receded,
The frogs are in hiding,
Rainstorms are needed,
Baked by the sun,
The mud's dry and cracking,
But overhead,
The clouds we're still lacking,
The sky is all blue,
Just a hint of white trim,
But nothing to boast of,
The forecast looks grim,
More sun on the way,
Relief only at night,
As the heat sinks in,
With no rain in sight.
My hair sticks to my cheek,
It feels like a sauna,
For the second week,
The heat is unbearable,
The sun beating down,
The ground is so dry,
Sand blows all around,
It's still by the lake,
The water receded,

"Crimson and Blue" By AB ~
The curtains glow gold, as the sunsets,
Then rose, then the blackness of night,
I sit by my window, thinking,
Until the sun slips out of sight,
Still, in repose I do liger,
Lost, in a storm, in my mind,
I try to focus and regroup,
Try, to relax and unwine,
I hear, all the sounds, in the distance,
And closer the babes in there beds,
I'm thinking, of all, we've been through,
And all ,over time, we have said,
This last year has been like a dream, love,
We have come, so far, since that day,
I do not know why you liked me,
And why, over time ,you did stay,
But I know, ever day, I have loved you,
And every day, that love, does grow,
I can't say I know the whole future,
But I'll love you more, each day, I know,
Clouds have silver linings,
But tonight they were crimson and blue,
The crimson was for me, dear,The blue, well, it's for you,
Are riches are not found in diamonds,
Are Jewels, are not set in gold,
Are wealth is not counted in rupees or dollars,
But in all of the love that we hold.
Then rose, then the blackness of night,
I sit by my window, thinking,
Until the sun slips out of sight,
Still, in repose I do liger,
Lost, in a storm, in my mind,
I try to focus and regroup,
Try, to relax and unwine,

"Friends Are Like Flowers" Poem by AB ~
First the bud appears,
Then the petals show,
As they slowly open,
Their colors, you will know,
Friends they are like flowers,
Unique in every way,
And they will show there colors,
Brighter ever day,
As you get to know them,
You see their colors true,
The frailest of friends,
Will wilt in front of you,
Other friends are stronger,
And spread their vital seeds,
Vigorous, as a daisy,
They grow among the weeds,
It matters very little, their variety,
Like flowers, ever friend you find,
Is special as can be.
Then the petals show,
As they slowly open,
Their colors, you will know,
Friends they are like flowers,
Unique in every way,
And they will show there colors,
Brighter ever day,
As you get to know them,
You see their colors true,
The frailest of friends,
Will wilt in front of you,
Other friends are stronger,
And spread their vital seeds,
Vigorous, as a daisy,
They grow among the weeds,
It matters very little, their variety,
Like flowers, ever friend you find,
Is special as can be.

"To Be Me" Poem by AB ~
Towards, the sunset I drift,
Sliding into the light,
Fading into the shadows,
Quietly out of sight,
Bold only when needs do arise,
Shyly the peace I seek,
I want to revive in the twilight,
Were I can expose and be meek,
Too long I have pushed to my limits,
I need that soft place to fall,
The mountains and woods look inviting,
And to my lost soul, they do call,
I long for a quit surrounding,
To sit in a field , a wheat sea,
Stare up at the clouds high above me,
Uncover my thoughts, and be free,
To float in a spring, a pool of blue tears,
To climb to the top tree,
To dance on a hillside, to feel the earths breath,
Fall, into myself, to be me.
Sliding into the light,
Fading into the shadows,
Quietly out of sight,
Bold only when needs do arise,
Shyly the peace I seek,
I want to revive in the twilight,
Were I can expose and be meek,
Too long I have pushed to my limits,
I need that soft place to fall,
The mountains and woods look inviting,
And to my lost soul, they do call,
I long for a quit surrounding,
To sit in a field , a wheat sea,
Stare up at the clouds high above me,
Uncover my thoughts, and be free,
To float in a spring, a pool of blue tears,
To climb to the top tree,
To dance on a hillside, to feel the earths breath,
Fall, into myself, to be me.

"I Must Be Dreaming" Poem by AB ~
The universe has kissed me,
Blessed I am to no end,
The karma I have sown,
I am reaping,
I pray that this dream never ends,
In trenched in my darkness, you shook me,
Then I stepped into the light,
The courage and joy I was seeking,
Was hidden by sorrow and fright,
Our love, will bind us together,
But love will free us too,
I feel my spirit lifting,
And sending my love to you,
Dreams are songs of lovers,
And my songs sung for you,
I know that you to are singing,
Your song is pure and true,
Its melody you taught me,
In harmony we'll sing,
But if you ever pinch me,
I wont awake from this dream.
Blessed I am to no end,
The karma I have sown,
I am reaping,
I pray that this dream never ends,
In trenched in my darkness, you shook me,
Then I stepped into the light,
The courage and joy I was seeking,
Was hidden by sorrow and fright,
Our love, will bind us together,
But love will free us too,

"My Flower" Poem by AB ~
Daisy's,
lily's,
daffodils,
Is it true,
You love me still,
Pansy's,
Orchids,
Roses too,
None of them,
Compare to you,
Hibiscus,
Jasmine,
Honeysuckle,
Gardenias,
Iris,
Periwinkle,
All of these,
Are nice to see,
But your,
The passion flower for me.

"Loving this Day" Poem by AB ~
When you said "love you",
I taught I was dreaming,
But when I woke up,
You were still here for me,
I am so happy,
I feel like a child,
I still can't believe,
That you want us to be,
Blissful emotions,
Are swirling around me,
The feelings are like,
No others before,
Your voice is so calming,
It makes me surrender,
When I see your smile,
I melt to the floor,
Lonely no more,
The restlessness settles,
The feelings of joy,
And hope in my life,
I wish I could claim,
This magical feeling,
You have erased The grief, pain and strife,
The future is brighter,
My days have more meaning,
I am in love,
And loving this day,
I want you to know,
That I'll love you for ever,
This feeling I'm having,
Is with me to stay.
I taught I was dreaming,
But when I woke up,
You were still here for me,
I am so happy,
I feel like a child,
I still can't believe,
That you want us to be,

"Saving my Kisses" by AB ~
As we say good bye,
I try to laugh,
But my cheeks, cannot stay dry,
I try to hold the tears,
But I love you so,
My dear,
You will be on my mind,
My thoughts,
Left behind,
I hold a genital smile,
Even thaugh,
I'm crying all the while,
I'll save for you a kiss,
Your words,
I'll dearly miss,
But when you go away,
Your love,
With me,
Will stay,
Make me feel safe,
And sets my soul free,
Your love the rarest find,
Your laugh healths pain,
Your voice so sweet and kind,
I walk aloe, as in a trance,
Forever your's,
Our love my final dance,
My love, come swiftly back to me,
Your safe return,
To God, my final plea,
And every morning,
when the day is new,
I will rise, and look for you,
The day I see, your smiling face,
With my eyes, I'll hold,
And will embrace,
Left hanging here,
Suspended, stuck in time,
My heart,
With yours entwined,
I try to laugh,
But my cheeks, cannot stay dry,
I try to hold the tears,
But I love you so,
My dear,
You will be on my mind,
My thoughts,
Left behind,
I hold a genital smile,

"My Child" Poem by AB ~
Peaceful ,
Angelic eyes,
Never telling,
Any lies,
Silently you lay there,
Without ever a care,
Your soul is open,
And free,
How we all wish to be,
Little and small,
Queen of us all,
Princess of love,
My little dove,
Just happy to be,
Asleep next to me.
Angelic eyes,
Never telling,
Any lies,
Silently you lay there,
Without ever a care,
Your soul is open,
And free,
How we all wish to be,
Little and small,
Queen of us all,
Princess of love,
My little dove,
Just happy to be,
Asleep next to me.
"Frozen" Poem by AB ~
As the darkness sleeps around me,
Waiting for the day to break,
I am sitting here, in silence,
Quietly, no one to wake,
The chilly air, is clear, and piercing,
It bights my bones, and numbs my toes,
And as I sit alone and thinking,
I wonder if your heart has froze,
I think of days, when you were with me,
You always had, something to say,
About the way the world is changing,
Another theory ever day,
You could tell your dreams for hours,
Explain inventions that you made,
Draw a picture, here beside me,
But then the memories do fade,
So what has happened to this dreamer,
Have dreams turned, to hate and rage,
Or have they frozen in the cold wind,
Lost in time, Or bounded or caged,
Time will wait for no ones feelings,
We all grow old, as time ticks by,
And frozen hearts lay wait in silence,
Happiness to them a lie.
Waiting for the day to break,
I am sitting here, in silence,
Quietly, no one to wake,
The chilly air, is clear, and piercing,
It bights my bones, and numbs my toes,
And as I sit alone and thinking,

"A Seed Left Planted" Poem by AB ~
When I go back, and view, my life,
I hope that it will read,
like this poem I leave behind,
Planted like a seed,
This person loved to live,
And lived to love and pray,
She dreamed of peace for everyone,
And of a better day,
Were wars were never waged,
And Mothers never cried,
Were baby's didn't starve to death,
In hunger left to die,
Were brothers didn't kill, there brothers,
And never beat there wives,
Were people found simple ways,
To fulfill and love there lives,
Were all the creatures had respect,
Each found there place on earth,
Were children grew to love themselves,
Knowing of there worth,
And if I died tomorrow,
I hope someone would say,
She shared her dreams with others,
And helped me find my way.
I hope that it will read,
like this poem I leave behind,
Planted like a seed,
This person loved to live,
And lived to love and pray,
She dreamed of peace for everyone,
And of a better day,

"On the Other Side of the Night" Poem by AB ~
In the morning when I wake,
I think of you,
In the night,
And in the evening to,
When it's dusk, and the sun , is going down,
It's only hours,
'till for you it's coming 'round,
And when the morning light,
Is almost here,
Your day is almost over,
Evening near,
We live in different places,
Different times,
Our lives have different rhythms,
Different rhymes,
But, like me, you have the same amazing sun,
It is yours,
When my days fully done,
And we share the same yellow moon,
When it gone here,
It will be there very soon,
All the stars that shined for me, so clear and bright,
They will soon be yours,
To shine their dazzling light,
It doesn't matter that my night,
Is your day,
We find the time to be together anyway,
And together we can dream of the night,
We'll hold hands until the sun comes into sight,
Lying , side bye side,we'll watch our first sunrise,
That we've always seen before ,
With different eyes.
I think of you,
In the night,
And in the evening to,
When it's dusk, and the sun , is going down,
It's only hours,
'till for you it's coming 'round,
And when the morning light,

" I Have Seen a Place of Beauty" Poem by AB ~
I have seen a place of beauty,
It is far beyond today,
But in my mind I see it clearly,
And in my dreams I know the way,
I see you standing there beside me,
I hear your voice,
I see your face,
Even when you may not know it,
You are with me, in this place,
When the nights are dark and cloudy,
I close my eyes, and drift away,
To this place were I am happy,
Dreaming of a distant day.
It is far beyond today,
But in my mind I see it clearly,
And in my dreams I know the way,
I see you standing there beside me,
I hear your voice,
I see your face,
Even when you may not know it,
You are with me, in this place,
When the nights are dark and cloudy,
I close my eyes, and drift away,
To this place were I am happy,
Dreaming of a distant day.
"Reaching For the Light" Poem by AB ~
I reach for the sun,
And it sinks through my skin,
Basking in warmth,
As the light flows in,
It shines through my windows,
And through glass doors pours,
I'm hiding inside,
I wonder what for,
The sun is inviting,
It calls out my name,
But I sitting inside,
Feeling insane,
I have no idea,
What holds me inside,
Or what is the reason,
That I want to hide,
Invisible chains,
Hold me indoors,
As light streams through my windows,
And knocks on the doors.
And it sinks through my skin,
Basking in warmth,
As the light flows in,
It shines through my windows,
And through glass doors pours,
I'm hiding inside,
I wonder what for,
The sun is inviting,
It calls out my name,
But I sitting inside,
Feeling insane,
I have no idea,
What holds me inside,
Or what is the reason,
That I want to hide,
Invisible chains,
Hold me indoors,
As light streams through my windows,
And knocks on the doors.
"Breaking Hearts" Poem by AB ~
What do you do when they are waking,
What do you do when they are in school,
Were have you gone when they are sleeping,
Do you feel happy,
Do you feel cool,
Are you with her, when they are crying,
When they are sick,
Do you even care,
You say that you miss them,
But are lying,
If you miss them,
Why aren't you here ,
If she loved you,
She wouldn't ask you,
To leave your children,
To cast them away,
They have missed you every second,
They have cried for you,
Every day,
Were is the love,
In the pain that you cause them ,
Why did you do this,
To them and to you,
You say your in pain,
But it's of your own making,
If she really loves you,
She would love them to,
You ask if I'm angry,
You ask if I hate you,
I don't even know,
What you want me to say,
I think, you are asking,
To clear you own conscious,
If you want some redemption,
You must find your own way,
I look at there faces,
I see your resemblance,
They are part you,
And they are part me,
But everyday,
They are changing,
Becoming more ,
Of what they see,
I am the one,
Here to guide them,
I am the one,
Who wipes their tears,
And when your away,
They truly miss you,
But I am the one,
Who comforts there fears,
So live you life,
And let us be happy,
Let us have joy,
Back in our lives,
If you want them to know you,
Then you must be present,
Come back to them swiftly,
Or sever all ties.
What do you do when they are in school,
Were have you gone when they are sleeping,

"Contradictions?" Poem by AB ~
Chasing stars in daylight,
Sunbathing at midnight,
Swimming in the dessert,
Crying at your sight,
Talking with my mouth closed,
Seeing with no eyes,
Dancing when I'm crippled,
Tethered with no ties,
Swinging from no axle,
Spinning while I'm still,
Hunger when I've eaten,
Finding time to kill,
Naked with my clothes on,
Dead but still alive,
Laughing at my heartbreak,
Stabbing with no knives,
Wandering to a purpose,
Loving to an end,
Giving to acquire,
Lying to a friend,
Goals that have no propose,
Inmates that have no crime,
Feeling, no emotion,
Riddles with no rhyme,
Are these contradictions,
Words that make no sense,
Or is they hidden meaning,
Stained, in the contence.
Sunbathing at midnight,
Swimming in the dessert,
Crying at your sight,

"The World Through Colored Glass" Poem by AB ~
Everything is colorful,
Everything feels right,
My worlds made up of colors,
Painted with the light,
Adventures are, the wings of dreamers,
Time will seek to tame,
But everything is brightly colored,
Through my window pane,
Colors dances in unison,
Their mystery's untold,
Watching through a hazy glaze,
They magically unfold,
Swirling through my daydreams,
And dance before my eyes,
Each individual color,
Holds a story, in disguise,
The colors come together,
To paint a rainbow cast,
Through my magic window,
Made of colored glass,
Everything feels right,
My worlds made up of colors,
Painted with the light,
Adventures are, the wings of dreamers,
Time will seek to tame,
But everything is brightly colored,
Through my window pane,
Colors dances in unison,

"Reflections of the Past" Poem by AB ~
Reflections of the past,
keep stealing my time,
Robbing my sanity,
Robbing my mind,
I push them back down,
Deep down, they hide,
But they've taken there toll,
And broken my inside,
I am exposed,
My feelings, denied,
I try to run,
But lost my pride,
Torn apart,
And left to die,
I pick up the piece,
As the pain subsides,
Clinging to my future,
As the past collides,
Feeling so dead,
Yet so alive,
Tossed upon a life raft,
Asking of my inner guide,
Searching for my dignity,
No were left to hide,
Letting go my shame,
As I swim against the tide,
I crossed the mighty ocean,
But, shame met me on the other side.
keep stealing my time,
Robbing my sanity,
Robbing my mind,
I push them back down,
Deep down, they hide,
But they've taken there toll,
And broken my inside,

"Cracked" Poem by AB ~
I am cracked,
I am torn,
Ripped apart,
Make me whole,
Make me feel,
Let me love,
Take me scarred,
Take me bruised,
Take me beaten,
I will heal,
I can feel,
I can love,
Give me hope,
Give me peace,
Give me solace,
I will breath,
My last breath,
Just for you,
Though I'm bruised,
I'm hurt,
I am bleeding,
With your love,
I will find my way through.
I am torn,
Ripped apart,
Make me whole,
Make me feel,
Let me love,
Take me scarred,
Take me bruised,
Take me beaten,
I will heal,
I can feel,
I can love,
Give me hope,
Give me peace,
Give me solace,
I will breath,
My last breath,
Just for you,
Though I'm bruised,
I'm hurt,
I am bleeding,
With your love,
I will find my way through.
"The Day She Killed You" Poem by AB ~
The day she killed you,
I died,
Not my body,
But my inside,
I looked alive,
But I was dead,
Because of all the things,
You've said,
The love is gone,
Now let me free,
Don't you know,
That we can't be?,
I am straight,
And you are gay,
You won't go,
But I won't stay,
I have a heart,
I have a mind,
I deserve the love,
That I find,
You made your choice,
Now live your life,
I wish you well,
I am not you wife.
I died,
Not my body,
But my inside,
I looked alive,
But I was dead,
Because of all the things,
You've said,
The love is gone,
Now let me free,
Don't you know,
That we can't be?,
I am straight,
And you are gay,
You won't go,
But I won't stay,
I have a heart,
I have a mind,
I deserve the love,
That I find,
You made your choice,
Now live your life,
I wish you well,
I am not you wife.
"When Dreams Hit Reality" Poem by AB ~
When dreams hit reality,
Something has to give,
I wish that I could never wake,
My dreams that I might live,
But when the morning light arrives,
And I am still alive,
I wonder when that day will come,
My dreams will have to die,
Each second passes without stop,
The clock keeps ticking on,
My life is flying by this way,
And now my dreams are gone,
I left them by the wayside,
A struggle to survive,
and if I ever find my way,
my dreams are not alive,
Why did I do this to myself,
I gave away my soul,
I taught that I would get it back,
but cant afford the toll,
And If morning never came ,
And I did not awake,
I think I would be happier,
In the dream world I would make.
Something has to give,
I wish that I could never wake,
My dreams that I might live,
But when the morning light arrives,
And I am still alive,
I wonder when that day will come,
My dreams will have to die,
Each second passes without stop,
The clock keeps ticking on,
My life is flying by this way,
And now my dreams are gone,
I left them by the wayside,
A struggle to survive,
and if I ever find my way,

Why did I do this to myself,

I taught that I would get it back,
but cant afford the toll,
And If morning never came ,
And I did not awake,
I think I would be happier,
In the dream world I would make.
"Thier Screams Were Never Heard" Poem by AB ~
When is it right to injure,
We are killing them every day,
If I inflict, than I am a torcher,
And that is not my way,
What is the differance between us,
If I don't speak my mind,
If I can't stand for myself,
Then let me stand at there side,
They are still and quite,
Thier lives they did not give,
Thier lives were taken from them,
Thier lives no more to live,
They screamed, and begged and pleaded,
They cried, but with never a word,
And so they screamed in silance,
A plead that no one heard,
Thier love ones died before them,
Sometimes they watched them die,
Thier eyes were sick and pleading,
For someone to hear thier cry,
They don't speak our language,
But I could understand,
And if you to would listen,
Beside us you might stand.
We are killing them every day,
If I inflict, than I am a torcher,
And that is not my way,
What is the differance between us,
If I don't speak my mind,
If I can't stand for myself,
Then let me stand at there side,
They are still and quite,
Thier lives they did not give,
Thier lives were taken from them,
Thier lives no more to live,
They screamed, and begged and pleaded,
They cried, but with never a word,
And so they screamed in silance,
A plead that no one heard,
Thier love ones died before them,
Sometimes they watched them die,
Thier eyes were sick and pleading,
For someone to hear thier cry,
They don't speak our language,
But I could understand,
And if you to would listen,
Beside us you might stand.
"A Whisper Stuck in Time" Poem by AB ~
I am playing hide and seek,
And I am left to find,
I open every single door,
And window in my mind,
Wondering when I'll find my way,
The past I've left to hide,
Looking for the perfect me,
But me I can't divide,
Searching trough this emptiness,
Through this world of crime,
Trying to find a wave to catch,
A whisper stuck in time.
And I am left to find,
I open every single door,
And window in my mind,
Wondering when I'll find my way,
The past I've left to hide,
Looking for the perfect me,
But me I can't divide,
Searching trough this emptiness,
Through this world of crime,
Trying to find a wave to catch,
A whisper stuck in time.
"Life is a Bubble" Poem by AB ~
Life is a bubble,
Who knows when we'll pop,
The wind picks us up,
And who knows were we'll stop,
If you catch the right breeze,
You can soar far,
And high,
But what ever goes up,
Must fall from the sky,
At some point,
We all have that day we will die,
I just hope that I pop,
While up in the sky.
Who knows when we'll pop,
The wind picks us up,
And who knows were we'll stop,
If you catch the right breeze,
You can soar far,
And high,
But what ever goes up,
Must fall from the sky,
At some point,
We all have that day we will die,
I just hope that I pop,
While up in the sky.
"Dancing with Snowflakes" Poem by AB ~
Through the trees,
A cool wind blows,
It lifts my scarf,
And chills my nose,
I look around,
I see the snow,
The white flakes shimmer to,
And fro,
I try to catch one in my hand,
As on the river bank I stand,
I gaze across it's broad expanse,
As the flakes perform thier dance,
If I could skate,
I'd go and see,
If the snow would dance with me.
A cool wind blows,
It lifts my scarf,
And chills my nose,
I look around,
I see the snow,
The white flakes shimmer to,
And fro,
I try to catch one in my hand,
As on the river bank I stand,
I gaze across it's broad expanse,
As the flakes perform thier dance,
If I could skate,
I'd go and see,
If the snow would dance with me.
"Vaccant Love" Poem by AB ~
Some one touched my shoulder,
I turned, it was you,
But then you slipped away,
Oh what am I to do?,
I taught I heard you call my name,
Your voice rang loud and clear,
But I was all alone, in bed,
And no one else was near,
Someone kissed me softly,
I felt a kiss from you,
I know that I was dreaming,
But I wish that it was true,
I know I heard you whisper,
I love you, in my ear,
I know that it was not you,
But I wish that you were here.
I turned, it was you,
But then you slipped away,
Oh what am I to do?,
I taught I heard you call my name,
Your voice rang loud and clear,
But I was all alone, in bed,
And no one else was near,
Someone kissed me softly,
I felt a kiss from you,
I know that I was dreaming,
But I wish that it was true,
I know I heard you whisper,
I love you, in my ear,
I know that it was not you,
But I wish that you were here.
"Heaven's Tear's" Poem by AB ~
Out my window,
Pouring rain,
Falling from,
The stars domain,
Heavens tears,
To bring us life,
Drowning sorrow,
Pain and strife,
Washing all my fears away,
Drenched in happiness,
I' ll stay,
Drops of wisdom,
Sinking in,
Through my ever lucid skin.
To cleanse my soul,
And set me free,
Heavens tears,
Sent just for me.
Pouring rain,
Falling from,
The stars domain,
Heavens tears,
To bring us life,
Drowning sorrow,
Pain and strife,
Washing all my fears away,
Drenched in happiness,
I' ll stay,
Drops of wisdom,
Sinking in,
Through my ever lucid skin.
To cleanse my soul,
And set me free,
Heavens tears,
Sent just for me.
"Daydreamer" Poem by AB ~
I'm the one,
Who draws smiley's on fingers,
Daydreams out windows,
And quietly lingers,
I like walks in the rain,
And rolling in snow,
Ice cream Sundays,
And talent shows,
Skinny dipping,
(When no ones around.)
Picnics on Tuesdays,
And the winds gentle sounds,
I like to wake early,
And I'm never late,
I want to go dancing,
And learn how to skate,
You'd probably find me,
Someplace vary still,
Quit and peaceful,
Vary tranquil.
Who draws smiley's on fingers,
Daydreams out windows,
And quietly lingers,
I like walks in the rain,
And rolling in snow,
Ice cream Sundays,
And talent shows,
Skinny dipping,
(When no ones around.)

"In Pieces" Poem by AB ~
I wanted to scream,
I wanted to cry,
I don't understand,
I can't even try,
I won't be like you,
I can't live like that,
It wouldn't be me,
I can't wear that hat,
You need to step down,
You need to step back,
You said that you loved me,
Now treat me like that,
You shouldn't be selfish,
You shouldn't have lied,
You ripped out my heart,
And destroyed my pride,
Broken in pieces,
Our relationship lies,
Do we pick up the pieces,
Or sever all ties.
I wanted to cry,
I don't understand,
I can't even try,
I won't be like you,
I can't live like that,
It wouldn't be me,
I can't wear that hat,
You need to step down,
You need to step back,
You said that you loved me,
Now treat me like that,
You shouldn't be selfish,
You shouldn't have lied,
You ripped out my heart,
And destroyed my pride,
Broken in pieces,
Our relationship lies,
Do we pick up the pieces,
Or sever all ties.
"My Son" Poem by AB ~
Baby, baby,
Little boy,
Little man,
Full of joy,
You lift my soul,
With every smile,
God has made,
A perfect child.
Little boy,
Little man,
Full of joy,
You lift my soul,
With every smile,
God has made,
A perfect child.
"Send Me a Whisper" Poem by AB ~
Send me a whisper,
Thats all I need,
You wont have to beg,
You wont have to plead,
You know from the past,
That I'm right at your side,
If you need me,
then call me, let go of your pride,
No one is perfect,
We all make mistakes,
We fix them, and groom them,
If that's what it takes,
If I could be perfect,
I would not, oh no,
'cause life would be stale,
If we weren't all so-so,
It's our struggles in life,
That make us strong,
I like you, I love you,
When right, and when wrong.
Thats all I need,
You wont have to beg,
You wont have to plead,
You know from the past,
That I'm right at your side,
If you need me,
then call me, let go of your pride,
No one is perfect,
We all make mistakes,
We fix them, and groom them,
If that's what it takes,
If I could be perfect,

I like you, I love you,
When right, and when wrong.
"Were is the Love" Poem by AB ~
Where is the love,
In this world today,
Where is the love,
We have given away,
In our homes, in our schools,
At our work, on the street,
Where is the love,
For the people we meet,
Have we forgotten that God is in all,
In every thing,
whether large or small,
And if you spite your fellow man,
You're cutting of your own right hand,
For rich or poor, young or old,
If you treat them all like gold,
They will notice that you care,
And good will follow you everywere.
In this world today,
Where is the love,
We have given away,
In our homes, in our schools,
At our work, on the street,
Where is the love,
For the people we meet,
Have we forgotten that God is in all,

"Plastic Man" Poem by AB ~
With his plastic goals,
And his plastic soul,
No one will ever find him,
And he'll go on his way,
With his plastic day,
With his plastic thoughts to guide him,
He is safe , he will say,
In his plastic way,
'cause no one will ever know him,
But he likes that OK,
When he wakes up each day,
With only his toothbrush beside him.
And his plastic soul,
No one will ever find him,
And he'll go on his way,
With his plastic day,
With his plastic thoughts to guide him,
He is safe , he will say,
In his plastic way,
'cause no one will ever know him,

"A Dessert Dream" Poem by AB ~
Sometimes I dream of a far away land,
Of cactus and tumbleweed,
Sage brush, and sand,
Where prairie dogs play,
And the sidewinder lies,
And the dessert , it stretches way out to the sky,
Where the air is dry, and the days, are hot,
And the weather is sunny, more often than not,
There I'd build a home, by day,
Of adobe bricks, stones, and clay,
And by the light of a silvery moon,
I'd drift off to sleep, by a coyote's tune.
Of cactus and tumbleweed,
Sage brush, and sand,
Where prairie dogs play,
And the sidewinder lies,
And the dessert , it stretches way out to the sky,
Where the air is dry, and the days, are hot,
And the weather is sunny, more often than not,

"Wondering" Poem by AB ~
I sit and wonder by a star,
Of magic things , near and far,
Of why the sun comes up each day,
And shines its pleasant warm, bright ray,
Of how the moon takes the night,
Giving comfort with its light,
And why the blue bird, knows to sing,
Alerting all it's time for spring,
Of peaceful rivers running by,
And mountains stretching to the sky,
Of were, they meet, valleys low,
And wondering were the east wind blows,
How the flowers know to bloom,
Letting fly their sweet perfume,
I sit and wonder by the stars,
And praise God for how things are.
Of magic things , near and far,
Of why the sun comes up each day,
And shines its pleasant warm, bright ray,
Of how the moon takes the night,
Giving comfort with its light,
And why the blue bird, knows to sing,

"Early Morning Rain" Poem by AB ~
Drip,
Drop,
Plinkety plop,
The droplets bless the ground,
As the wind gently blows,
It makes an eerie sound,
The dry leaves first lift, than fall,
To make room for the new,
The birds, they sing a pleasant song,
Of flowers touched by dew,
The rain it falls in glassy drops,
Each precious more than pearls,
The animals start to hide away,
The robin, hare and squirrels,
The drizzle quickly gains its pace,
Now it starts to pour,
A crack of lightning pounds the earth,
With a terrible monstrous roar,
As quickly as the rain comes,
It quietly slips away,
The sun appears to light the world,
For another wonderful day.

"Tortured Heart" Poem by AB ~
How do you fix a broken heart,
If its twisted, and mangled,
And torn apart,
How do you say that you are you,
If you're severed , and burned,
And bruised black and blue,
If your heart is all knotted,
And you can't see the light,
How can you tell if its day or night,
When death is comfort,
And life is pain,
How do you breath without going insane,
How do you find yourself,
Where do you start,
How do you kill the pain in your heart.
PAIN
FEAR
GUILT
DEPRESSION

"Inner Child" Poem by AB ~
I am in my element,
Outside my mothers door,
Tranquil, back porch,
Sitting cross leg, on the floor,
Watching light slide through,
Bits of colored glass,
Paint my world with rainbows,
As the sunbeams pass,
Life is all around me,
Her bananas plants surround,
Clay pots, that hold them,
Filled with fertile ground,
The window made of blue glass,
The crystals hanging down,
Remind me of my childhood,
Sitting in my night gown,
Looking through those same blue pains,
Dreaming I was one,
Of the cranes ,
In Mom's stained glass,
Soaking up the sun,
Now I sit in daydreams,
Grown, but still five,
Barefoot on my Mother's back porch,
Feeling so alive.
Outside my mothers door,
Tranquil, back porch,
Sitting cross leg, on the floor,
Watching light slide through,
Bits of colored glass,
Paint my world with rainbows,
As the sunbeams pass,
Life is all around me,
Her bananas plants surround,
Clay pots, that hold them,
Filled with fertile ground,
The window made of blue glass,
The crystals hanging down,
Remind me of my childhood,
Sitting in my night gown,
Looking through those same blue pains,
Dreaming I was one,
Of the cranes ,
In Mom's stained glass,
Soaking up the sun,
Now I sit in daydreams,
Grown, but still five,
Barefoot on my Mother's back porch,
Feeling so alive.
"Waiting For the Rain"
Everything is glowing,
Under a moon light sky,
The air is still and sticky,
The ground hot and dry,
Silence all around me,
Like night has lost it's tongue,
No birds or crickets chirping,
Not a song is sung,
Every thing is waiting,
Waiting for the rain,
To quench the thirsty earth,
And bring back life again.
Under a moon light sky,
The air is still and sticky,
The ground hot and dry,
Silence all around me,
Like night has lost it's tongue,
No birds or crickets chirping,
Not a song is sung,
Every thing is waiting,
Waiting for the rain,
To quench the thirsty earth,
And bring back life again.
"So True" Poem by AB ~
Soft as a kitten,
Hard as a rock,
Deep as an ocean,
Tight as a lock,
Fast as lightning,
Sticky as tar,
Green as grass,
Bright as a star,
Dry as a bone,
Black as the night,
Fluffy as clouds,
High as a kite,
All of these idioms,
Are true,
And so is the statement,
I love you!
Hard as a rock,
Deep as an ocean,
Tight as a lock,
Fast as lightning,
Sticky as tar,
Green as grass,
Bright as a star,
Dry as a bone,
Black as the night,
Fluffy as clouds,
High as a kite,
All of these idioms,
Are true,
And so is the statement,
I love you!
"After My Bedtime" Poem by AB ~
Its after my bedtime,
I'm not asleep,
My eye lids are closing,
My schedule they keep,
I feel so exhausted,
My energy gone,
But my mind it is racing,
And my body it's pawn,
I'm thinking about,
All the people I know,
And all of the places,
That I'd like to go,
I'm wondering what's out,
Beyond that bright star,
And what's going on,
In countries afar,
I know I must rest soon,
I know I must sleep,
So I lye with eyes closed,
And try counting sheep.
I'm not asleep,
My eye lids are closing,
My schedule they keep,
I feel so exhausted,
My energy gone,
But my mind it is racing,
And my body it's pawn,
I'm thinking about,
All the people I know,
And all of the places,
That I'd like to go,
I'm wondering what's out,
Beyond that bright star,
And what's going on,
In countries afar,
I know I must rest soon,
I know I must sleep,
So I lye with eyes closed,
And try counting sheep.
"Star Gazer" Poem by AB ~
Early in the morning,
I sneak outside to lye,
And gaze upon the stars and planets,
That fill the clear night sky,
I lye and count their numbers,
All thier names ,I do not know,
But, Orion's belt is sparkling,
The three stars in a row,
I think I see Beatle Juice,
They call it Betelgeuse,
And seven sisters make a mirror,
That's called the Pleiades,
I do not see Taurus,
He's lost among the stars,
Buts Venus shines brightly,
Calling out for Mars,
I wish ,that I, could name them all,
But underneath moonbeams,
I fall asleep, counting stars,
And name then in my dreams.
I sneak outside to lye,
And gaze upon the stars and planets,
That fill the clear night sky,
I lye and count their numbers,
All thier names ,I do not know,
But, Orion's belt is sparkling,
The three stars in a row,
I think I see Beatle Juice,

"Midnight Rainstorm" Poem by AB ~
I wake to a crash of lighting,
A torrent of wind and rain,
The thunder outside is pounding,
Announcing April again,
The power inside is flickering,
As night lights up like day,
The tin roof rings with raindrops,
And branches as they sway,
The wind brings sprays of water,
Through my open door,
I feel it on my face,
As it puddles on the floor,
I run to close the windows,
The curtains flying high,
Outside,the trees are dancing,
In the midnight sky,
A near by crash of thunder,
Sends me, safely back to bed,
And I fall asleep to raindrops,
Ringing softly in my head.
A torrent of wind and rain,
The thunder outside is pounding,
Announcing April again,
The power inside is flickering,
As night lights up like day,
The tin roof rings with raindrops,
And branches as they sway,
The wind brings sprays of water,
Through my open door,
I feel it on my face,
As it puddles on the floor,
I run to close the windows,
The curtains flying high,
Outside,the trees are dancing,
In the midnight sky,
A near by crash of thunder,
Sends me, safely back to bed,
And I fall asleep to raindrops,
Ringing softly in my head.
"Just Kiss Me" Photo by AB ~
My heart is breaking,
What do I do,
Why cant you see,
I just want to love you,
I feel like I've lost you,
Like you've run away,
I want you beside me,
And not just today,
I want you forever,
No ,longer than that,
I want you indefinitely,
But I can't have that,
So make me a promise,
You'll be with me now,
As long as I live,
As God will allow,
If you want me, then kiss me,
You don't have to speak,
Because compared to kisses,
Words are so week.
What do I do,
Why cant you see,
I just want to love you,
I feel like I've lost you,
Like you've run away,
I want you beside me,
And not just today,
I want you forever,
No ,longer than that,
I want you indefinitely,
But I can't have that,
So make me a promise,
You'll be with me now,
As long as I live,
As God will allow,
If you want me, then kiss me,
You don't have to speak,
Because compared to kisses,
Words are so week.
"Restless" Poem by AB ~
It's five in the morning,
I'm lying here thinking,
I'm getting tired,
My eyelids blinking,
My Minds been racing,
Keeping me alert,
But it's slowing down,
And I am feeling inert,
The last two hours,
I've been wide awake,
Having these thoughts,
That I just can't shake,
Worries, and doubts,
Stress galore,
Now my body's exhausted,
In my bed on the floor,
I've work in three hours,
I've a schedule to keep,
So I'll say my mantra,
And try to sleep.
I'm lying here thinking,
I'm getting tired,
My eyelids blinking,
My Minds been racing,
Keeping me alert,
But it's slowing down,
And I am feeling inert,
The last two hours,
I've been wide awake,
Having these thoughts,
That I just can't shake,
Worries, and doubts,
Stress galore,
Now my body's exhausted,
In my bed on the floor,

"Different" Poem by AB ~
They say I'm wierd,
And laugh at me,
Why can't they,
Just let me be,
They say I'm strange,
And I'm their joke,
I just don't see,
Why they poke,
They try to hurt me,
Make me feel sad,
But all they do,
Is look bad,
They say I'm different,
I guess I am,
But why should they,
Give a damn.
And laugh at me,
Why can't they,
Just let me be,
They say I'm strange,
And I'm their joke,
I just don't see,
Why they poke,
They try to hurt me,
Make me feel sad,
But all they do,
Is look bad,
They say I'm different,
I guess I am,
But why should they,
Give a damn.
"Poisoned" Poem by AB ~
A tree stands tall,
Shade for me,
Why would someone,
Kill my tree,
He asked if he,
Could cut it down,
All his trees,
Mowed to the ground,
But I'm not him,
I like trees,
Flowers, shade,
Trunks, and leaves,
Beneath it's branches,
I used to sit,Rest, relax,
Dream a bit,
But now it's dying,
It's leave fall free,
Why would someone,
Kill a tree.
Shade for me,
Why would someone,
Kill my tree,
He asked if he,
Could cut it down,
All his trees,
Mowed to the ground,
But I'm not him,
I like trees,
Flowers, shade,
Trunks, and leaves,
Beneath it's branches,
I used to sit,Rest, relax,
Dream a bit,
But now it's dying,
It's leave fall free,
Why would someone,
Kill a tree.
"Walls" Poem by AB ~
You live behind walls,
Like your scared ,
Are you keeping yourself in,
Or are you just not prepared,
To see the world,
beyond that steal,
Ali qua, Heath row,
I don't get the deal,
Your children know mine,
And walk the same street,
Though, you taught,
They'd never meet,
I'm in your house , by day,
All the while,
Our children play,
See they know,
were all the same,
Despite your money,
Despite your fame,
Living in fear,
Behind your gates,
In a jail,
That you create.
Like your scared ,
Are you keeping yourself in,
Or are you just not prepared,
To see the world,
beyond that steal,
Ali qua, Heath row,
I don't get the deal,
Your children know mine,
And walk the same street,
Though, you taught,
They'd never meet,
I'm in your house , by day,
All the while,
Our children play,
See they know,
were all the same,
Despite your money,
Despite your fame,
Living in fear,
Behind your gates,
In a jail,
That you create.
"Sunset at the Park" Poem by AB ~
Feeling vacant,
Totally blank,
Silently I sit,
On the lake's bank,
Watching the boats,
Feeling the sun,
It sink in the sky,
The day is all done,
The water ripples,
As boats go by,
While overhead,
The water birds fly,
The light is reflected,
Into the lake,
The waves glisten,
In the boat's wake,
Not wanting to move,
But it's getting dark,
Soaking in nature,
As sun sets at the park.
Totally blank,
Silently I sit,
On the lake's bank,
Watching the boats,
Feeling the sun,
It sink in the sky,
The day is all done,
The water ripples,
As boats go by,
While overhead,
The water birds fly,
The light is reflected,
Into the lake,
The waves glisten,
In the boat's wake,
Not wanting to move,
But it's getting dark,
Soaking in nature,
As sun sets at the park.
"Would it Truly be Living" Poem by AB ~
I want to relax,
To let go of it all,
Throw out my troubles,
Like one throws a ball,
Wrap fear all up,
In an old burlap sack,
Burn it to dust,
So it never comes back,
Take all my pain,
To a hole in the ground,
Drop it so deep,
It"ll never be found,
Walk to the lake,
And in depths, unknown,
Watch sadness sink,
Like a smooth skipping stone,
Open my windows,
And let doubts fly high,
Like a dove, on the wing,
Up into the sky,
Box burdens up,
And mail them away,
To somewhere far off,
Forever to stay,
But what would bring joy,
Without struggles in life,
Would it truly be living,
Without pain, fear, and strife ?
To let go of it all,
Throw out my troubles,
Like one throws a ball,
Wrap fear all up,
In an old burlap sack,
Burn it to dust,
So it never comes back,
Take all my pain,
To a hole in the ground,
Drop it so deep,
It"ll never be found,
Walk to the lake,
And in depths, unknown,
Watch sadness sink,
Like a smooth skipping stone,
Open my windows,
And let doubts fly high,
Like a dove, on the wing,
Up into the sky,
Box burdens up,
And mail them away,
To somewhere far off,
Forever to stay,
But what would bring joy,
Without struggles in life,
Would it truly be living,
Without pain, fear, and strife ?
"Days End" Poem by AB ~
The sky is softly blushing,
The suns below the lake,
Its golden fingers brush the clouds,
The silver moon awakes,
The shadows fall about me,
Darkness cloaks the trees,
The light is quickly fading,
The last rays steal, and tease,
Crickets announce the days end,
They breaks news of the night,
The sky pales dark, beneath the moon,
At evenings, last glimpse of sunlight,
Another days is at its end,
Stars lace the heavens, high,
Their winking , boldly at the moon,
Who lights the blackened sky.
The suns below the lake,
Its golden fingers brush the clouds,
The silver moon awakes,
The shadows fall about me,
Darkness cloaks the trees,
The light is quickly fading,
The last rays steal, and tease,
Crickets announce the days end,
They breaks news of the night,
The sky pales dark, beneath the moon,
At evenings, last glimpse of sunlight,
Another days is at its end,
Stars lace the heavens, high,
Their winking , boldly at the moon,
Who lights the blackened sky.
"Chasing the Rain" Poem by AB ~
Do you ever taken a drive,
On a stormy day,
Following the rain clouds ,
As they carry you far away,
Watching for those tiny drops,
To tap your window glass,
Searching for the darkest clouds,
As the minutes pass,
Every turn, anticipating,
Until the sky must yield,
Letting go, ringing down,
On your window shield,
First ever lightly, like a mist,
Then stranger, faster, sure,
Melting all you stress away,
Like an age old cure,
And as you plunge into the rain,
The radios replaced,
By a song made just for you,
Because you dared to chase.
On a stormy day,
Following the rain clouds ,
As they carry you far away,
Watching for those tiny drops,
To tap your window glass,
Searching for the darkest clouds,
As the minutes pass,
Every turn, anticipating,
Until the sky must yield,
Letting go, ringing down,
On your window shield,
First ever lightly, like a mist,
Then stranger, faster, sure,
Melting all you stress away,
Like an age old cure,
And as you plunge into the rain,
The radios replaced,
By a song made just for you,
Because you dared to chase.
"Take Back" Poem by AB ~
I offered,
You took,
I gave,
You took,
I sacrificed,
You took,
I suffered,
You took,
I died,
You took,
I revived,
You took,
I live,
I love,
I took.
You took,
I gave,
You took,
I sacrificed,
You took,
I suffered,
You took,
I died,
You took,
I revived,
You took,
I live,
I love,
I took.
"Omnipresant" Poem by AB~
This is me,
This is you,
This is him,
This is with all,
This is without,
This is within,
This is good,
This is bad,
This is it,
This is the start,
This is the all,
This is the end.
This is you,
This is him,
This is with all,
This is without,
This is within,
This is good,
This is bad,
This is it,
This is the start,
This is the all,
This is the end.
"Shame" Poem by AB ~
Shame is binding,
Tightly winding,
Shame will hold you,
Cast and mold you,
Shame is lasting,
Strong and grasping,
Shame can haunt you,
And may taunt you,
Shame can break you,
Or can make you.
Tightly winding,
Shame will hold you,
Cast and mold you,
Shame is lasting,
Strong and grasping,
Shame can haunt you,
And may taunt you,
Shame can break you,
Or can make you.
"Two Hearts Taken" Poem by AB ~
Peaceful brooks,
Turn into streams,
Holding hands,
Entangled dreams,
Growing stronger,
Day by day,
Gaining pace,
Along the way,
Two hearts beating,
Side by side,
Restless emotions,
Fragile pride,
Times elapse,
But we'll still be,
Two hearts taken,
You and me.
Turn into streams,
Holding hands,
Entangled dreams,
Growing stronger,
Day by day,
Gaining pace,
Along the way,
Two hearts beating,
Side by side,
Restless emotions,
Fragile pride,
Times elapse,
But we'll still be,
Two hearts taken,
You and me.
"Into Dreams Falling" Poem by AB ~
Drifting away,
Into dreams falling,
My eye lids are close,
My sub-conscious calling,
My breath starts to change,
Its slower and deep,
I feel like I'm floating,
As I slip into sleep,
Into dreams falling,
My eye lids are close,
My sub-conscious calling,
My breath starts to change,
Its slower and deep,
I feel like I'm floating,
As I slip into sleep,
"Silence's Sound" Poem by AB ~
Sometime I hide in nature,
Sometimes I dance in rain,
When no ones there to see me,
Or witness joy or pain,
I like to be alone at times,
To hear my inner voice,
I disappear in shadows,
Not of shame, but choice,
I sing when you can't hear me,
I laugh with silent, sound,
I vanish in, the wilderness,
And walk that silent ground,
I love a pond in springtime,
It's silence does abound,
A field of grass brings silence,
To souls that rage with sound,
A peaceful river, the oceans shore, A mountains rocky side,
Are all filled with silence,
And are places that I'll hide,
I'll sit there with my eyes close,
Or stare with empty gaze,
With beauty all around me,
My inner silence made.
Sometimes I dance in rain,
When no ones there to see me,
Or witness joy or pain,
I like to be alone at times,
To hear my inner voice,
I disappear in shadows,
Not of shame, but choice,
I sing when you can't hear me,
I laugh with silent, sound,
I vanish in, the wilderness,
And walk that silent ground,
I love a pond in springtime,

Are all filled with silence,
And are places that I'll hide,
I'll sit there with my eyes close,
Or stare with empty gaze,
With beauty all around me,
My inner silence made.
"Surfing the Wind" Poem by AB ~
Racing down I-4 ,
Surfing the wind,
My hand out the window,
As the air rushes in,
The radio booming,
I feel so carefree,
My hand is a surfer,
The wind is my sea,
I roll to the music,
Tapping in time,
Rising , and falling,
To the rhythm and rhyme,
The wind on my palm,
Riding on air,
Catching a wave,
As it blows through my hair,
Surfing the wind,
My hand out the window,
As the air rushes in,
The radio booming,
I feel so carefree,
My hand is a surfer,
The wind is my sea,
I roll to the music,
Tapping in time,
Rising , and falling,
To the rhythm and rhyme,
The wind on my palm,
Riding on air,
Catching a wave,
As it blows through my hair,
"Letting Joy In" Poem by AB ~
Sometimes I wonder why,
I was so blind,
Why I was so stupid,
Why I was so kind,
I didn't object,
When you tore me apart,
Destroyed my dreams,
Walked on my heart,
I stayed by your side,
So faithful and true,
But you didn't notice,
That I died for you,
How I crumbled slowly,
How I cried in my sleep,
All the days that I suffered,
All the tears that I reaped,
I don't know what changed me,
Why I had to part,
The pain from the beatings,
Or the pain in my heart,
But one day, I woke up,
And I was done,
And that day I left,
My new life begun,
You see, I am happy,
And I am alive,
Yes, life is a struggle,
But I will survive,
My past made me stronger,
And I grow stronger still,
The pain gave me drive,
My future, gives me will,
So don't think you broke me,
Because, I go on,
And don't think you stopped me,
Because you haven't won
Even though battered,
And told I must stay,
I followed my dreams,
And left you that day,
Now I am living,
For our children and I,
And one day, they'll thank me,
For not living your lie,
For not giving up,
And letting pain win,
For opening my heart,
And letting joy in
I was so blind,
Why I was so stupid,
Why I was so kind,
I didn't object,
When you tore me apart,
Destroyed my dreams,
Walked on my heart,
I stayed by your side,
So faithful and true,

"Letting Dreams Fly" Poem by AB ~
I am awake,
I am alive,
I will have faith,
I will not cry,
I will still love,
Keep joy alive,
Hope conquers fears,
Letting dreams fly.
I am alive,
I will have faith,
I will not cry,
I will still love,
Keep joy alive,
Hope conquers fears,
Letting dreams fly.
"Dreched in Happiness" Poem by AB ~
Feeling beautiful, today,
Feeling good,
Drenched in happiness, today,
like I should,
I learned to sing, today,
Loud and strong,
Feeling young, today,
Right or wrong,
Dreams are magical,today,
Fly away,
Forget the practical,today,
Shout hurray,
I can dance, today,
In my soul,
I am me, today,
I am whole.
Feeling good,
Drenched in happiness, today,
like I should,
I learned to sing, today,
Loud and strong,
Feeling young, today,
Right or wrong,
Dreams are magical,today,
Fly away,
Forget the practical,today,
Shout hurray,
I can dance, today,
In my soul,
I am me, today,
I am whole.
"The Song of Wind and Rain" Poem by AB ~
The wind is talking to me,
It whispers in my ears,
It sings it's song, so genitally,
It comforts all my fears,
It blows away my sadness,
It whisks away my pain,
It makes me feel so endless,
And brings with it the rain,
To wash away my troubles,
To bless the days ahead,
There calling to each other,
And this is what they said,
They said, you are my lover,
Come dance with me, come chase me,
Together we'll be happy,
We'll sing in harmony,
They ran away together,
And took with them my fear,
Their song still lingers softy,
Ringing gently in my ears.
It whispers in my ears,
It sings it's song, so genitally,
It comforts all my fears,
It blows away my sadness,
It whisks away my pain,
It makes me feel so endless,
And brings with it the rain,
To wash away my troubles,
To bless the days ahead,
There calling to each other,
And this is what they said,
They said, you are my lover,
Come dance with me, come chase me,
Together we'll be happy,
We'll sing in harmony,
They ran away together,
And took with them my fear,
Their song still lingers softy,
Ringing gently in my ears.
"When Dark Clouds Descend" by AB ~
When the sun does not shine,
When dark clouds descend,
I will search for the light,
I will strive 'til the end,
I will never give up,
I will push towards the light,
I will hold myself true,
I will break trough the night,
When I'm drowning in tears,
When the pain tries to win,
I will open the windows,
And let the light in,
I will pull back the shutters,
I will let lose my shame,
I won't be a pawn,
I will play my own game,
When winter has come,
And I'm chilled to the bone,
When I sink in the ocean,
like a lifeless old stone,
I will be my own anchor,
I will raise my own sail,
I will pull myself up,
And blaze my own trail,
When I'm lost in the forest,
And the night steels the day,
I will call to the moon,
By it's light,Find a way,
Even through darkness ,
We can all find a light,
And pierce through the rain clouds,
And chase back the night,
For the frail can be vital,
And the weak can be strong,
So never give up,
'til the gray clouds are gone.
When dark clouds descend,
I will search for the light,
I will strive 'til the end,
I will never give up,
I will push towards the light,
I will hold myself true,
I will break trough the night,
